MercSimRacing is a sim-racing team based in the United States. This website is primarily informational.
Information we collect
We do not currently provide user accounts, purchase functionality, newsletter registration, or website forms, and we do not intentionally collect personal information directly through the website.
If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to provide, including your email address and message.
If you choose to apply to the team, the application link opens a form hosted by Google Forms. The form may request data such as your name, nationality, and other relevant information. MercSimRacing uses this information to evaluate your application and communicate with you about it. Responses may be accessible to MercSimRacing management, and Google may process information under its own privacy terms.
Our hosting provider, Vercel, may process technical information necessary to deliver and secure the website, such as IP addresses, browser/device information, request information, and security-related data.
Instagram content
Our Results page displays images hosted by Instagram/Meta. When your browser loads these images, your browser connects directly to Meta's servers. Meta may therefore receive information such as your IP address, browser information, and the referring website.
Cookies and tracking
MercSimRacing does not currently use advertising cookies, behavioral advertising, or third-party analytics cookies. If this changes, this policy will be updated and any legally required consent mechanisms will be implemented.
Information sharing
We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers where necessary to operate the website, such as our hosting provider.
Data retention
Information submitted through email or the team application form is retained only as reasonably necessary for communication, application review, and team operations.
